About Us
We believe everyone deserves the chance at vehicle ownership — regardless of their credit history. That belief drives everything we do.

We believe everyone deserves the chance at vehicle ownership — regardless of their credit history. That belief drives everything we do.
The company was founded on a straightforward principle: a credit score shouldn't be the only factor that determines whether someone can finance a vehicle. Life happens — medical bills, job losses, divorces, and other financial setbacks can damage your credit through no fault of your own. We built United Auto Credit to serve the millions of Americans who have been turned away by traditional lenders but still need reliable transportation for work, family, and daily life.
Our mission is to provide accessible, transparent, and fair auto financing for consumers across all credit backgrounds — and to help them rebuild their financial health in the process.
At the core of We are what we call Common Sense Lending. Rather than relying exclusively on automated credit scoring algorithms, our underwriting team evaluates the full picture of each applicant's financial situation. We look at employment stability, current income, housing history, and the specific circumstances behind past credit challenges.
This philosophy means we can say "yes" in situations where purely algorithmic lenders say "no." It also means we structure loans that borrowers can realistically afford — because approving a loan that a customer can't repay doesn't serve anyone's interests.
Every loan comes with clear, straightforward terms. No hidden fees, no surprise charges, no fine-print gotchas. Our borrowers know exactly what they're signing up for before they sign anything.
We serve consumers who have been underserved by the traditional lending system — including those with scores below 500, those with no credit history at all, and those recovering from bankruptcy.
We don't just provide loans — we provide a path to better credit. Every on-time payment is reported to major credit bureaus, giving our customers the opportunity to rebuild their financial standing.

We believe in giving back. Our community outreach programs focus on financial literacy education, particularly in underserved communities where access to reliable financial information is limited. We partner with community organizations to provide free workshops on credit building, budgeting, and responsible borrowing.
We also support our team members in volunteering and participating in charitable causes. At United Auto Credit, making a difference isn't just a tagline — it's a daily practice that extends beyond our offices and into the communities we serve.
United Auto Credit operates in compliance with all applicable federal and state lending regulations, including the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). We are committed to fair lending practices and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age, or any other protected characteristic.
Our lending practices are regularly reviewed to ensure compliance with evolving regulations and industry best practices. Consumer protection is not just a legal requirement for us — it's a core value.
See why thousands of customers trust us for their auto financing needs.
